The second wave of the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic has arrived, which is why our #Razemdlaszpitali campaign continues, tirelessly helping those infected with the virus who need it most. We thank @VINCI and @FondationVINCIpourlaCité for providing the necessary funds. Thanks to this funding, the @VINCI Group companies operating in Poland were able to purchase six high-end ventilators, essential to Polish medics in their fight for the health and lives of patients with #covid19.
The ventilators went to six hospitals – in Warsaw, Kalisz, Szczecin, Gdańsk, Kraków and Bydgoszcz. Between March and September we helped more than 30 facilities across Poland, including hospitals, medical centres and care homes.

• “The equipment we have received is tremendous support for us. It will be used for patients of the Hospital Emergency Department infected with #covid19 who need support for respiratory failure. Thanks to its built-in turbine, the ventilator can be used in rooms without a compressed-air supply, as well as during patient transport. This means greater functionality and a wide range of uses for the ventilator donated to us,” said Radosław Kołaciński, Director of the Ludwik Perzyna Provincial Integrated Hospital in Kalisz.
  The initiative we undertook with the support of the VINCI Foundation @FondationVINCIpourlaCité, together with 12 companies – Warbud, Eurovia Polska, ATEM-Polska, Menard, ETF Polska, Soletanche Polska, Calanbau-TPI, Freyssinet Polska, VINCI Facilities Polska, VINCI Immobilier Polska, Axians Networks Poland and Remea – shows how vitally important help is during an epidemic crisis, both for the health service and for patients themselves – it offers a chance and hope of beating the disease. “By making this donation, we want to support, and also to thank, the doctors who look after our health and are on the front line in the fight against #covid19,” said Agnieszka Wąsowska, Member of the Management Board of the “Warbud – Warto Pomagać” Foundation and coordinator of the campaign.
